Question

Why do tube doors have "Open" buttons on them? They never work and all the doors always open anyway. Is it so us Londoners can spot the tourists?

I would just like to point out that I do realise my life is nowhere near as bad as it could be. I'm not starving, I don't have any major illnesses, I don't sleep rough (although I've nearly had to after missing the last tube), I've got lovely family and friends, blah, blah, blah; what I do like is a damn good moan.
